About Frank Armstrong

A passion for writing and storytelling

Frank discovered his passion for writing and storytelling at the age of 8 when he won his first writing award (for creative writing). Frank became an award-winning journalist who captured numerous national and provincial accolades before launching Wordstrong, a corporate communications consultancy offering editing, writing, and media training services as well as writing coaching. His corporate communications writing has captured millions of dollars in government funding for his clients.

Versatile professional veteran writer

Frank graduated with a B.A. (Journalism) from Ryerson University in Toronto. Frank has worked as a daily newspaper reporter in England; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Kingston, Ontario. He has provided writing services for several newspapers, magazines, and trade journals, including the Globe and Mail Report on Business, Computing Canada, Canadian Living, Municipal World magazine, and the Belfast Telegraph (Ireland). He has specialized in writing about crime and justice, the military, and business and technology. Frank is now a business communications professor at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
